St Edmund’s Nursery School has received recognition for the outstanding provision offered since 2006, being graded Outstanding by Ofsted, being a school of choice for parents across the Bradford District and recognised as an exemplar of excellent practice by the local authority, participating in national projects that require high standards. We have decided that the time is right to open a new school for Bradford to extend the work we have done for years in making the most of the opportunities presented to develop provision for children and young people aged 0-19, utilising our experience and approaches to learning. Our application in July 2016 to open a 4 to19 Free School was unfortunately not approved by the Department for Education, but we received some good feedback and intend to reapply in March 2017. We would like to thank you for your support and encouragement in this venture, rest assured we won’t give up. Please click here if you would like to give us your views on the free school – scroll down the page to the contact form.
Our next nursery intake is in January 2017 for 3 and 4 year olds, and for eligible 2 year olds. Please call us on 01274 543282 to reserve a place for your child.
We use a lot of photographs on the website of children and families accessing the school/centre. We hope that these are a source of pleasure and pride which enhances self-esteem for children and families. Parents are asked for permission to use photos in this way. If there are any photos on the website that parents do not want to appear, please let us know. Photos should not be copied or used by other organisations.
