July Leavers

All the children who are leaving in July will receive a written report from their class teacher. You will be given the opportunity to discuss the report sometime during the week beginning 3rd July. We will be having a special Leaver’s Ceremony on Friday 21st July at 1.15. It is really important someone from your family attends this ceremony. Please let your keyworker know if you cannot attend.

Car Safety

We are very concerned that some parents do not fasten children into their cars in a safe way. Many children are injured and killed in car accidents every year. Even a small bump can do a lot of damage. Please make sure your child either wears a seatbelt or is fastened into a car seat.

Nursery Photographs

All the children in the Nursery had their photograph taken together. The large photographs can be seen in the office. If you would like to buy a copy of the photograph please pay either Gail in the office or one of the adults in the classroom by 30th June.

Governor’s Report To Parents

Our annual Governor’s Report to Parents is on Wednesday 21st June at 6.00. The governors will be there to talk about the report and we will be showing slides of children in the nursery. You are welcome to bring your child to this meeting.

If you haven’t received a copy of the report please ask at the office.

The First Musician….

is our core story for this half term. The story is set in Australia and shows a variety of instruments being played. The instruments tell the story of a day in the life of a child. We will be focusing on a different colour each week and we will be talking about and mixing colours.

The full time children will also be visiting City Farm on Walker Drive. They will be going in small groups on Friday afternoons.

September Full time Children

All children who are starting full time in September will soon receive a booklet to share at home. All children – both morning and afternoon - will attend in the mornings from 4th September. You should already have been given a date when your child will stay to dinner. Until then you should pick your child up at 11.15. Please speak to a member of staff if you are unsure about anything.

Creative Partnerships

Phil has begun working with the children and each week the display in the cloakroom is updated to show what he has been doing.

Web-site

Don’t forget to visit our web site, the address is www.stedmundsnscc.com

Summer Holidays

Please note school closes for the Summer on Friday 21st July and re-opens on Monday 4th September.

£3.00 snack money is due and should be paid to Gail in the office.
