We use the natural environment and resources we find to help the children develop socially, physically and to enhance their problem solving skills. The children have enjoyed watching the leaves on the trees change colour and fall from the trees as Autumn progressed. We have used a small fire to prepare our snack of hot chocolate and popcorn and used stories as a catalyst to activities. We used Percy the Park Keepers Treasure Hunt to help the children understand how to do a picture trail to find our ‘Treasure’ of chocolate gold coins.
