Children with complex needs are referred for additional support within the Nursery by Bradford’s Early Years Inclusion Panel. Parents can also request places directly. We are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for admission and access to all areas of the curriculum for all children, in line with the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act 2001. Our school/centre is fully accessible with lift facilities to the first floor. Throughout the building there are adult accessible toilets whilst children have facilities within the Hygiene room
SEN Policy and Equality:
In May 2010 we were awarded the Gold Quality Mark for Inclusion. This was achieved through a real team effort and everyone contributing to the production of two files reflecting all the inclusive practice that exists within the centre. We are looking forward to being presented with our award in the Autumn.
